Colado to manage partner and sales growth for Novell worldwide
Novell, the leader in intelligent workload management, today announced the appointment of Javier Colado to Senior Vice President of Global Sales for Novell. Mr. Colado, who has been with Novell since 2006, also serves as President of Novell EMEA and previously held the position of General Manager of Partners. In his new role, Mr. Colado will continue to report to President and CEO Ron Hovsepian and will be responsible for both direct and partner sales activities for Novell worldwide.

Mr. Colado joined Novell in 2006 as Vice President and Area General Manager where he was responsible for all operations, sales and marketing for Western EMEA. He was appointed to General Manager of Partners in 2008 where he executed channel and partner strategy and accelerated Novell's channel transformation worldwide. In 2009, he assumed the role of President of EMEA. Prior to Novell, he held senior executive positions with McAfee and Lucent Technologies, where he helped spearhead business partner relationships, channel strategy and sales.
