11.0 Verifying the Installation

To determine whether the installation is successful, launch ESM for Fusion. The first time that you connect after deployment, the application prompts you to create credentials for the product administrator.

  1. Open a supported web browser.

  2. Specify the URL for ESM for Fusion:

    https://<ESM_for_Fusion-server>/dashboard
  3. Specify credentials for the appropriate administrator, using the following format:

    name@domain.com

  4. Specify credentials for the initial administrator.

NOTE:If your environment includes Interset, review the following requirements for the initial administrative user:

    • For the first-time login, you must enter credentials for the Interset administrator, which is the administrative account that was specified during the deployment of Interset. Otherwise, Interset users will not have single sign-on access to the Dashboard.

    • The Interset administrator account cannot access analytics data in Interset because the application automatically assigns it to the Administrative Tenant role. So, this role cannot view content in widgets that display data from Interset.

    • Other users created with Dashboard permissions automatically receive the Default Tenant status in Interset. These users can view content in widgets that display data from Interset.

  5. Log in with the new credentials.

  6. To connect with ESM, continue to Section 12.0, Integrating Data and Users from Enterprise Security Manager.

  7. (Conditional) To connect with Interset, continue to Section 13.0, Integrating Data from Interset.

  8. Create additional Dashboard users.
