By default, the lines of code in modules are not calculated when the module is registered in the workspace. The lines of code for a module is calculated when a source module is verified.
In COBOL Analyzer Administration, use the tool Calculate LOC to calculate the lines of code for unverified source modules. The count will then be displayed in the properties of the source module and will be used by the inventory report when it calculates the lines of code for different source types, projects, and the workspace total.
To calculate the lines of code:
This opens the Select workspace dialog box.
LOC Calculation task submitted.
View a file's properties and click the Statistic tab to see its number of source lines.
