Perform the following steps to specify the search filter for an Orphan Analysis report:
Click
Options > Project Options.
This opens the
Options - Project properties dialog box.
Click
Reports > Orphan Analysis tabs.
Click
Select Startup.
This opens the
Details dialog box.
In the Startup dialog, set up a search filter for the startup objects in the orphan analysis. You can filter on entity type,
entity name, or both:
In the
Roots list, check the entity types you want to search for and filter.
To filter on entity name, right-click in either the
Like or
Not Like lists in the
Name group. Type a string and check the item to enable the filter pattern and add patterns as required. You can use wildcard patterns
allowed in LIKE statements by Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
When you are satisfied with your choices in the Details dialog, click
OK.
In the Find group, define the terms of the search by selecting the appropriate choice in the
Relationships to Checked Startups list, and the
Relationships to Unchecked Startups list.
In the
Entities group, check the entities to include in the report.
