Dimensions RM 12.3 addresses various enhancement requests and issues that were submitted by customers, including:
· Configurable Requirements Lifecycle
Workflow: Within a graphical editor, states and transitions together with
access rights, visibility and ownership can be defined for a Dimensions RM
class. State change history is visualized and transitions can be constrained.
· New
'User' attribute type, which allows selection values based on particular users or
users from specified groups.
· Easy requirements linking with Split View
(2 classes and their link in one view) and drag & drop.
· New Trend Reporting: progress and changes
of requirements or other trends can be visualized and embedded into a
dashboard.
· Pedigree View: graphical visualization of
requirements history tree with change proposals.
· Enhanced Access Rights on Categories: Role-based security for products, project, components, etc.
· Enterprise Architect integration: The
integration supports bi-directional linking of requirements and UML artifacts.
Traceability can be visualized in Dimensions RM and model views can be embedded
into RM requirements documents.
· Enhanced visibility and extension of
container attributes in requirement form and Home View tabs, including search
filter and sorting. Additional filtering of containers in
Manage Containers window.
· Display of containers and link changes
within history differences view.
· Dashboard widgets can show content of given
URL.
· Resizable area for text attributes.
· Multi-select
for deletion of requirements/chapters in document tree.
· Several webservice enhancements
like:

Ability
to use SSO user name and password in login webservice.

Association
of RM container and CM stream.
o
Set of webservices for new workflow feature.
