Enable Just-in-Time debugging in Eclipse

  1. Click Window > Preferences > Micro Focus > COBOL > Debug.

    The Debug preferences pane is displayed.

  2. In the Just in time debugging options section, select Enable JIT debugging.
  3. (These settings are optional.) Select Show JIT launch configuration before debug to display the launch configuration options immediately prior to debug.
    Tip: To edit those options now, click Edit JIT launch configuration, and then set the defaults for a JIT debug session.
  4. Click Apply and Close. The next time a JIT debugger is required, Eclipse will be invoked.
