Compare and Synchronization Monitor enables you to compare mainframe data sets against workstation directories. Where differences occur, you can synchronize
the information. This can occur in either direction, or both directions. Typically, you would download mainframe partitioned
data sets to a workstation directory.
Note: This utility has limited functionality on UNIX platforms. To use the Compare and Synchronization Monitor in a UNIX environment,
you must appropriately configure MFDAS. See
Configuring MFDAS for UNIX for more information.
