Starting Data Tools

Attention: This topic applies to a feature that is in Early Adopter Program (EAP) release status. We intend to provide the finalized feature in a future release. Please contact OpenText Support for Micro Focus Products if you require further clarification.

To launch Data Tools for the first time:

  1. Ensure that you have configured the file service as outlined in the topic Set up the File Service.
  2. Navigate to /opt/microfocus/EnterpriseDeveloper/datatools/com.microfocus.datatools-linux.gtk.x86_64.tar.gz.
  3. Extract the contents of com.microfocus.datatools-linux.gtk.x86_64.tar.gz to a directory of your choice.
  4. Change to the directory that contains the extracted files.
  5. Open the file datatools.

    This opens the Data Tools application.
