Upgrading the HACloud Settings from Previous Releases

HACloud shipped with releases 8.0 and 9.0 used a configuration settings file, hacloud.properties, in the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Micro Focus\Enterprise Developer folder. This file has been deprecated in release 10.0, and is replaced by the application-userprefs.properties file.

In 10.0, when you start HACloud for the first time, the startup service or script will rename an existing hacloud.properties to hacloud_backup.properties. You need to manually migrate your configuration settings over to the application-useprefs.properties file after the upgrade, and delete the hacloud.properties file. The exceptions to this are:

• The setting to enable HTTPS communications to the session server endpoint has changed. If TLS was previously enabled, you need to set server.ssl.enabled=true in the application-useprefs.properties file.
• The spring.profiles.active setting has been deprecated.
