CICS Channels View

You can display the CICS Channels view by clicking Window > Show View > Others > CICS Channels.

Channels and Containers list

An expandable list of channels used up to the point of execution, and the containers they contain. Select a container to view its contents in the box below the list.

Tabs

Eclipse adds a tab to the CICS Channels view for each running debug session.

Channels name filter

Type a character string to filter the list to those in the currently selected container that contain the string in their container name.

Containers name filter

Type a string to filter the list to show just the containers in the currently selected container that contain the string in their container name.

Data view box

Located below the Channels and Containers list, this box shows a view of the data contained in a container. You cannot edit data from this box. See To modify data in a container for more information.

ASCII

Select this to show container data in ASCII.

EBCDIC

Select this to show container data in EBCDIC.
