Transfer File

Function:

This tool transfers a file from one platform to another, it supports mass processing.

Note: If the target file of the tool "Transfer File" is an MVS data set, it is not checked if an enqueue is set on the data set before it is overwritten. The tool "Transfer File" does not set an enqueue before overwriting the data set content.

If the target file of the tool "Transfer File" is of type MVS_SEQ the sequential MVS data set must already exist. The creation of a new sequential MVS data set is not supported by the tool.

Parameters:

Parameter #	I/O	Type	Description
1 [M]	I	File/MassProcessing	References the source of the file transfer.
2 [M]	I	File/MassProcessing	References the target file of the file transfer.

Both input parameters must be either File or MassProcessing type.
