Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.
- Source location
- Shows path to the relevant project\group subdirectory. If you have assigned a workgroup in your AppMaster Builder preferences,
all workgroup locations for the relevant data source type are available on the drop-down list.
- Name
- Type a name for the new data view. The name must be unique to the project and follow data view naming rules. See
Data View Sources for details.
- Existing data source files list
- A list of data source files for the relevant data source type that exist in the project. This list is supplied for reference
purposes only.
- You can apply a filter to the list using the
Filter field.
- Autoload the list when the filter changes
- Check this to automatically update the data source files list when you change the filter specification.
- Filter
- Type in a string, including wildcard characters, to apply as a filter to the data source list. Alternatively, click one of
the alphabetical buttons to provide an initial character for the filter, or click the asterisk (*) button to show all relevant
data source files represented in the project.
- Alphabetical buttons
- Click an alphabetical button to filter the list on an initial character. The buttons shown on this dialog box are dynamic,
and represent each unique initial character found in the relevant data source file names.
- Asterisk (*) button
- Click this to return from filtering to a listing of all files on the list.
- Load
- Click this to list all existing data source files of the relevant type or, when
Autoload the list when the filter changes is unchecked, click this to apply the filter to the list.
- Add
- Click this to add the data source file to the data view.
- Exit
- Click this to close the dialog box.
