ECN-4296

This configuration variable lets you turn on the actions addressed by ECN-4296. ECN-4296 prevents this error:

ACCEPT recursion limit reached!
Further execution may cause unpredictable results.

from occurring when running a COBOL program under the following conditions:

• Using a remote desktop session
• Sitting on an ACCEPT statement within an event procedure
• Hiding and restoring the remote desktop session ten times or more.

The default for the ECN-4296 configuration variable is ON, but if required it can be set to OFF, which causes the run time to act as if the ECN is not implemented.
