Supported AcuToWeb Desktop functions

If your application contains any of the features or syntax listed below, then the AcuToWeb Desktop must be running when you launch your application. If the AcuToWeb Desktop is not running when the application attempts to process any of these features, AcuToWeb displays a message, the COBOL syntax being executed might be ignored, and the application could fail.

  AcuToWeb without AcuToWeb Desktop is unable to return the following information:

  • client-machine-name
  • client-user-id
• ACCEPT SYSTEM-INFORMATION FROM SYSTEM-INFO

  AcuToWeb without AcuToWeb Desktop is unable to return the following information: USER-ID

• Windows Registry
• Play sound
• System commands
• Client clipboard access
• Windows help
• Native calls using @[DISPLAY] notation
• Use W$FONT to allow font selection
• Open/save dialog box
• Use WIN$VERSION to retrieve information
