Simple reads of data (local or remote), when using AcuXDBC Server for transactions and threading, sometimes caused Excel to return a message such as We cannot return the data producing this query because of its complexity.
When default transactions are ON in the AcuXDBC configuration file (acuxdbc.cfg), client programs such as Excel use multiple connection threads. If you intend to just import data using a client program, set transactions OFF in the AcuXDBC configuration file.
