Filter pane

The filter pane lets you search for data that match specific criteria. The viewing binocular icon for the viewing section of the filter pane section at the top of the filter pane identifies the context, if applicable, of the search criteria that defines the data items in the content list. To view the filter pane, click filter icon in the action menu.

When using the filter pane, consider the following.

  • The selections in the filter tree pane are combined with any selection made in the folder tree pane. If you have made selections in the folder tree pane, the folder tree pane icon includes a red circle, folder tree icon with red circle to indicate selections have been made.

    TIP: If you want to view data items from a specific folder in a specific dataset, select the desired dataset from the Datasets criterion and then switch to folder tree pane. In the folder tree pane, expand the source and select the desired folder. Switch back to the filter pane to continue filtering as necessary.

  • To clear filter criteria selections, click the corresponding X to clear an individual criterion or click Clear Filters to clear all selected criteria. The content list refreshes to shows all data for all available workspace or workbook, restricted by selections made in the folder tree pane.
