Content detail pane

The content detail pane displays pertinent data analysis, applied tags, and metadata for the data item currently selected in the content list. The content detail pane is available as an option in the List view (list view icon) and is included in the Detailed view (detailed view icon).

With the desired data item selected in the content list, click the tabs within the detail pane to view the additional information.

  • Click the data analysis tab (data analysis tab icon) to view the risk score, associated reporting groups, and grammar values found in data items with grammar values extracted.

    • On a scale of 0-100, the risk score represents the level of risk related to the amount of private data identified in the data item. Risk is calculated based on the sensitive tags associated with the data item relative to the respective weight (associated weighted labels). The higher the risk score the higher the risk.

    • Click the More ˅ link to show the associated reporting groups. Expand the reporting groups to view the related tags and weighted labels.

    • For unstructured data items, expand the grammar classes and types to view grammar rules found in the selected data. Values for grammar rules are found when a data item has had grammar rule values extracted; the data item displays the grammars extracted icon (grammar values extracted icon) in the content list. For more information, see View grammars found.

    • For structured data items , expand the grammar classes and types to view the identified grammar rules and the columns in which the grammar was found. For more information, see View grammars found.

  • Click the workbooks tab (workbook tab icon) to view the static workbooks associated with the selected data item. For more information about workbooks, see Workbooks. For more information about assigning data items to workbooks from the context of a workbook, see Data items and workbooks.

  • Click the tags tab (tags tab icon) to view any static tags applied to the selected data item. For more information about tags and applying tags to data items, see Tags.

  • Click the metadata tab (metadata tab icon) to view available metadata for the selected data item, including any warnings or errors encountered during processing. You can also view the types of processing performed during the initial processing of the data item, such as whether the content of the data item was stored or grammar values were extracted. If the data item has been protected, you can see the file protection details. The available metadata will vary based on the type of data item selected.

When viewing the contents of a deduplication task workbook, you will also see a Document Deduplication section.

NOTE: The deduplication section displays only if you are viewing the item within the context of a deduplication task workbook and applies to unstructured data only.

    • An entry for Duplicate of Master Document indicates that the selected item is a duplicate of the master document with the identified Document ID.

To view the details of the master data item, click the link for the identified Document ID. The details of the master item open in a pop-up window.

TIP: If the identified Document ID link is the same as the Document ID for the selected item, the selected item is the master document.

    • Click the View All Copies link to display all copies and the master record in the content list. Any previously selected filters are cleared and the VIEWING field in the filter pane displays "View all copies of <master record file name>". Click the back button (<) next to this field to return to workbook contents.
