Change a non-federated user's password

If logged into any of the OpenText Core Data Discovery & Risk Insights UIs as a non-federeated user, you may have the option to change the password for the account you are logged in as. This option has been set by your OpenText Core Data Discovery & Risk Insights administrator.

  1. From any page in any of the application UIs, click the user icon (user settings icon) in the top right corner of the UI and then click change password icon Change Password.

    TIP: If the Change Password option is not present, your user profile does not include the option to change your password.

    The Change Password dialog opens.

  2. Complete the password details as desired.

    Option Description
    Enter Password

    Type your new password.

    Limits: Minimum of eight characters, one uppercase character, one lowercase character, one number, and one special character
    Confirm Password

    Re-type your new password.

  3. Click CONFIRM.

    In the confirmation dialog, click YES to confirm the action.

    Your password is changed.
