Notifications
To ensure you are aware of specific workspace and workbook actions, notifications specific to you can be seen from within any of the OpenText Core Data Discovery & Risk Insights UIs. Open the notification pane () to view your notifications.
In the notification pane, you will see a notification card for each of your notifications.

If you have new notifications, the notification icon includes a red circle
. After you open the notification pane, the new notification indicator is removed and the current notifications are no longer considered new.

New notifications display at the top of the list and have a darker left border.

Click the name of the workspace to go to the overview view of the workspace. Click the name of the workbook to go to the list of workbooks within the parent workspace.

Notification cards are automatically removed 30 days after the notification was initiated.

You can manually remove notification cards as desired. Click the
on the desired card to remove the card from the notification pane. To remove all notification cards, click
and then click Delete all notifications.

Once you have verified your email address, you will receive email notifications when a new notification is initiated.

You can configure your notifications to turn off email notifications entirely or select specific notifications to receive by email.
Verify your email address
Your administrator can request that you verify your email address. You must complete the email verification process so that you can receive future notifications by email.
When your administrator requests that you verify your email, you will receive an email from "noreply@cddri.opentext.com". Additionally, a notice displays in the Settings for the notification pane if you have not yet verified your email.

In the email you received requesting verification, click the Verify your email address link.
A verification message opens in your default browser.

In the verification message, click the Click here to proceed link.
Your email address is verified.
You can close the browser or browser tab as desired.

From any UI page in OpenText Core Data Discovery & Risk Insights, click
to open the notification pane.

In the notification pane, click
and then click Settings.

If your email address has not been verified, you see a message that your email needs to be verified. Review the email address associated with your user account and click Send verification email.

Go to your email associated with your user account and locate the verification email from "noreply@cddri.opentext.com".

Click the Verify your email address link in the verification email.
A verification message opens in your default browser.

In the verification message, click the Click here to proceed link.
Your email address is verified.
You can close the browser or browser tab as desired.
Configure notification options
Once you have verified your email address for notifications, you will begin receiving email notifications in addition to the in-application notifications in the notification pane. You can choose the notifications you want to receive by email.

From any UI page in OpenText Core Data Discovery & Risk Insights, click
to open the notification pane.

In the notification pane, click
and then click Settings.

Complete the notification options.
Specify whether you want to Receive email notifications. Click the toggle to select (
) or deselect (
) the option.

When enabled (selected), the available email notification options display. Select or clear the check boxes for the desired options.

When you have been directly assigned a role in a workspace
-
When a group you belong to has been assigned a role in a workspace
-
When you have been directly assigned as a reviewer of a workbook activity

When a group you belong to has been assigned as a reviewer of a workbook activity

When the workbook review you requested has been approved/rejected

When not enabled (deselected), the email notification options are dimmed and notifications are not sent by email.

If your email address has not been verified, you see a message that your email needs to be verified. Review the email address associated with your user account and click Send verification email. Follow the instructions for verifying your email address from the notification pane.
The notification settings are saved automatically when you close the notifications pane.
