System Requirements

Zendesk Connector can be installed as part of a larger system that includes a Knowledge Discovery Content component and an interface for searching the text index. To maximize performance, OpenText recommends that you install the Content component and the connector on different machines.

Enable API Access

You must enable acesss to the Zendesk API, by following the instructions in the Zendesk documentation. OpenText recommends that you use an API token to authenticate with the API, rather than a password.
