    Returns or specifies whether Reflection uses the buffer length or the field length of a packed decimal field to determine the size of fields on the PC.

    Property Value

    The default value is False for all versons of Reflection except Japanese versions. (The default for Japanese versions of Reflecton is True.)
    Exceptions
    ExceptionDescription
    Attachmate.Reflection.SecuredSettingException This exception is thrown when you modify a Reflection property that has been secured via the Permissions Manager, or if such a modification requires Administrator privileges.
    Remarks
    This mimics the way that Rocket RUMBA and Extra! perform this operation. When set to false, the extra byte in front of even length fields is eliminated.

    This setting applies to 5250 sessions only.
