Changing the Location of the Euro Character in a Character Set

Some COBOL applications supported the Euro character before the International Standard Organization decided its value in standard character sets. In these instances, Relativity needs to modify its understanding of the value of the character in the standard character set.

1. From the Tools menu, click Character Sets.

   The Character Sets tab opens, displaying a list of character sets already in the catalog.

2. In the list of current character sets, select the required character set.
3. Click the field in the Euro column, then enter a numerical value (between 0 and 255) that will correspond to the Euro character.
4. Click Save.

   The changes are saved.

5. Close the Character Sets tab.
