Running and Exporting Reports

  1. On the Reports menu, select the required report type.

    The report automatically runs, and is displayed.

  2. Click Export Report As.

    The Export Report As dialog box is displayed, and the location defaults to the reports directory.

  3. In the File name field, type the name for the report, or leave it at the default name.
  4. Click Save as type, and select the report format.
  5. Click Save.

    The report is saved to the selected location. You can now view it using an appropriate tool for the selected format. If you move the report before opening it, you should also move (a copy of) the following files to the same location, so that they are used to render the report and provide sorting ability to the report tables: ReportToHtml.xslt, Report.css, and SortHtmlTable.js.

    Tip: You can customize the appearance of your reports by editing these files; however, we recommend that you make copies of these files before you start to edit their contents.
