If a catalog is corrupted, a warning message in the Status pane will alert the user. The message instructs the user to go
to
. This opens the
Catalog Cleaner to view the corruption in more detail and resolve the problems.
Note: Before you proceed, it is recommended that you back up your current catalog.
- Click
to open the
Catalog Cleaner.
- Review the information presented about the corruption within the catalog. Click a row in the to view further information about
the problem.
- Uncheck any cleaning tasks that you want to retain.
- At the bottom of the pane, click
Clean Broken Metadata.
