ADO.NET Connection Strings

In addition to creating and storing connections using the ADO.NET Connection Editor, you can also code and store connection settings in one of the following configuration files:

• UserConnections32_v4.config for 32 bit, framework 4.0, 4.5, 4.6 and 4.8 connections
• UserConnections64_v4.config for 64 bit, framework 4.0, 4.5, 4.6, and 4.8 connections

  These files are located in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Micro Focus.

• AzureConnections.config for Azure SQL Database connections

  This file is located in %PRORAMDATA%\Micro Focus.
