To connect to Enterprise Server Common Web Administration (ESCWA)

By default, the Micro Focus Servers node in Server Explorer connects to ESCWA on the local machine. You can also connect to an ESCWA on a different machine.

To view and modify the connection details, or connect to ESCWA on the local or on another machine:

1. Right-click Micro Focus Servers or inside Server Explorer, and click Enterprise Server Administration Configuration.
2. Click Remote to connect to ESCWA on another machine.
3. Specify a name for your connection, a host or an IP address of the machine, and the port number for ESCWA.
4. If the server connection is TLS-enabled, check TLS Enabled. You will be prompted to supply an appropriate certificate.
5. Click OK.

   Visual Studio might display a Sign On dialog box for ESCWA you are trying to connect to. When you supply the required credentials, the Micro Focus Servers node displays the Directory Servers for the specified ESCWA connection.
