The default Enterprise Developer behavior for DISPLAY AT when no color has been specified is to use the colors already existing on the screen (see The DISPLAY Statement for more information).
This directive may be useful for emulation of DISPLAY AT behavior from other COBOL systems where the color attributes get reset when not specified in syntax.
