To start a Visual COBOL command prompt

• From your Windows desktop, click Start > Micro Focus Visual COBOL > Micro Focus Visual COBOL Command Prompt (32-bit) or Micro Focus Visual COBOL Command Prompt (64-bit).

There are two ways to start a Micro Focus Visual COBOL command prompt in Windows 11.

• Click the Start button in the Task Bar. Use the search field in the Start menu to find and start Micro Focus Visual COBOL Command Prompt (32-bit) or the Micro Focus Visual COBOL Command Prompt (64-bit).
• Open Windows Terminal on your machine, and click Open a new tab. From the drop-down menu, select Micro Focus Visual COBOL Command Prompt (32-bit) or the Micro Focus Visual COBOL Command Prompt (64-bit).
