Visual COBOL as an administrator. To do this:

- Windows 7 and Earlier

- From your Windows desktop, click
Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Visual COBOL
.
- Right-click
Visual COBOL for Eclipse; then select
Run as administrator from the context menu.
- If prompted, click
Yes.

Start screen, right-click the
Visual COBOL for Eclipse tile.
- On the bottom of the page, click
Run as administrator.
- If prompted, click
Yes.
- Windows 10 and Later

- From your Windows desktop, click
Start > Micro Focus
Visual COBOL.
- Right-click
Visual COBOL for Eclipse.
- On the context menu, click
More > Run as administrator.
