Novell today announced that Dell will offer Novell's Linux software services to its enterprise customers. Novell recently announced its plan to provide customers the choice of running all of Novell's advanced network services for business - including NetWare® services - on the Linux server operating system, and Novell® Nterprise™ Linux Services is an early delivery in that plan (see today's separate announcement).
Novell's Nterprise Linux Services give customers file, print, messaging, directory and management services in an integrated package that runs and will be supported on Red Hat Linux and SuSE Linux distributions. Available later this year, Nterprise Linux Services combines the benefits of Linux with proven, rock-solid support and network services from Novell.
