Open Horizons Summit hosts IT professionals interested in Novell technology from across EMEA; includes an exclusive preview of the upcoming Novell Open Enterprise Server 2015.
Open Horizons, the premier EMEA user community of Novell technology, announced details of its Open Horizons EMEA Summit 2015 which this year will include a sneak peak of Novell Open Enterprise Server 2015 ahead of its official launch.
Taking place from 13-15th April 2015 in Budapest, Hungary, the agenda addresses key elements of modern IT infrastructure including collaboration solutions, file management, device and endpoint management, and Linux server management.
"This is a do-not-miss event for Novell customers, partners and Open Horizons community enthusiasts," said Marco Mikultis, who is organizing the conference as part of the Open Horizons summit task force for over 150 delegates from 17 countries. "The Open Horizons EMEA Summit has continually proven why it is the foremost event for IT professionals focusing on Novell and Partner solutions and Open Horizons 2015 will be no different."
OES 2015 preview
This year, Open Horizons will include a special preview of Novell Open Enterprise Server 2015 (OES 2015), the latest version of the industry's most advanced file and print services. This major new release contains powerful new features and functionality, including:
Open Horizons Summit attendees will get the inside track on OES 2015 before anyone else, including all-important details on its official launch timings, product development, new functionality and updates over previous versions.
Hotlabs
In addition to the OES 2015 preview and the main keynotes, delegates can choose to attend any five of more than 30 half-day, hands-on Summit Hotlabs. Delivered by a panel of technology experts from the Open Horizons community, these sessions will provide attendees the technical know-how required to make the most of Novell and partner solutions. The hands-on sessions will cover a range of topics including collaboration, endpoint management, file and networking services, identity management, SUSE Linux and partner solutions.
Keynote
Norman Rohde, vice president for EMEA, Novell, will present a keynote at the Open Horizons Summit. "Open Horizons is a great chance for me to speak to our customers and partners and learn more about the challenges they face," said Rohde. "I'm looking forward to seeing how our customers react to the OES 2015 preview because this new version offers significant updates.
