(NASDAQ: CATP), a global eSolutions provider, announced that the Form S-4 registration statement, relating to their previously announced proposed merger, was today declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Novell, Inc. (NASDAQ: NOVL), the leading provider of Net services software, and Cambridge Technology Partners (Massachusetts), Inc. (NASDAQ: CATP), a global eSolutions provider, announced that the Form S-4 registration statement, relating to their previously announced proposed merger, was today declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Cambridge Technology Partners will now proceed with a mailing to its stockholders of the definitive proxy statement-prospectus pertaining to its merger with Novell, Inc. A special meeting of stockholders of Cambridge Technology Partners to vote on the merger will be held at the headquarters of Cambridge on Tuesday, July 10, 2001.
