Lending strength to its launch today of Novell® Nsure™ secure identity management solutions, Novell received a show of support from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte& Touche LLP and a number of other solution providers. The company was joined in an online press conference by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte& Touche, who outlined plans to work with Novell in delivering secure identity management solutions to global customers.
PricewaterhouseCoopers announced it would offer Novell Nsure solutions as part of its global Security Integration Services practice and has named Novell as one of its go-to-market alliance vendors. In particular, Novell will provide key identity management technology, based on its industry-leading directory and metadirectory services.

Deloitte& Touche reaffirmed its long-standing relationship with Novell in the delivery of identity-based solutions. Novell's technology plays an important role in Deloitte& Touche's identity management offering, known as i-MAAP™. Most recently, Deloitte& Touche and Novell announced an identity management solution for SAP*-enabled companies. The Identity for SAP solution allows companies to maximize the return on investment from their SAP deployment by providing real-time integration between SAP HR and other enterprise systems.

Novell Nsure solutions present tremendous opportunities for the company's solution provider partners as well. In particular, Novell's announcement today of Novell Nsure Resources™, the company's first packaged solution for provisioning employee access to resources, will allow channel partners to solve identity-related business problems even without the same consulting resources as large systems integrators.
