World’s fourth largest stock exchange selects SUSE Linux Enterprise Server to manage high-volume traffic and improve performance
Novell today announced SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server will be used to support the London Stock Exchange’s new trading platform. The Linux* system will help the Exchange to effectively manage the high volume of traffic passing through its systems in record-breaking time. The deployment, which went live today, will help improve the performance of the Exchange’s UK cash markets.
The new Millennium Exchange system will provide the Exchange with a high performance, secure, green and interoperable platform, capable of making intelligent use of virtual and physical environments.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server will help to increase the Millennium Exchange system’s capacity to cope with high-volume trading.
