Recover From an Outage in Minutes

From end to end, PlateSpin Forge simplifies and speeds the full lifecycle of disaster recovery.

Recovery archives can be powered on and run directly off the PlateSpin Forge server hardware

Warm standby virtual machines deliver incredibly fast recovery performance by being booted in place. With PlateSpin Forge®, the recovery archives can be powered on and run directly off the PlateSpin Forge server hardware.

In the event of a disaster, PlateSpin Forge immediately notifies the administrators via mobile devices and via its own web interface, making sure everyone gets the message, no matter where they are. You can respond almost immediately to begin the recovery process, which is as fast and simple as powering on a few virtual machines right on the appliance itself.

PlateSpin Forge simplifies the full lifecycle of disaster recovery

Once the recovery servers are powered on, PlateSpin Forge assumes the production functions, users are switched over, and the recovery servers continue to run on the appliance. However, the process isn't complete until production functions are truly restored to normal. PlateSpin Forge offers the same ease of use and simplicity for the return to normal as for the initial phase of recovery.

Once the original failed servers are replaced, PlateSpin Forge allows the server workloads to be rapidly restored to the new replacement servers, even if the new servers are a different hardware brand or type.

If the original servers can be repaired, the server workloads can also be failed back to the originals with a simple sync-back of any changed data that has occurred while the server was running on the PlateSpin Forge appliance.

From end to end, PlateSpin Forge simplifies the full lifecycle of disaster recovery and eliminates the pains that used to be associated with it.
