Micro Focus provides defect support for Open Enterprise Server support packs for one year after the release date of the following support pack. For example, Open Enterprise Server 2015 FCS was released in August 2015. Open Enterprise Server 2015 SP1 was released in June 2016. Open Enterprise Server 2015 FCS will have defect support through June 2017, one year after Open Enterprise Server 2015 SP1 became available. Maintenance customers may continue to get their technical support questions answered on any support pack while their Open Enterprise Server version is in the General Support lifecycle phase. As part of the resolution of an issue, however, customers may be asked to upgrade to a support pack with defect support. Bug fixes, security patches and associated product enhancements which are deemed appropriate by Micro Focus are provided during the General Support phase of the product support lifecycle to customers who are current with their product https://www.microfocus.com/en-us/services/maintenance. Note : Committed support end date for OES 2015 SP1 has been extended to 31st December 2019 to give customers additional time to migrate to OES 2018 SP1. During this period critical defect fixes and security updates will continue to be made available for OES 2015 SP1.
