CPU

  • Any server-class computer that runs with AMD64 or Intel* EM64T processors.
  • *IMPORTANT: OES only runs on x86_64. Other processors that are supported by SLES 12, such as Itanium (IA64) and Intel x86(IA32), are not supported for running OES services.

Memory

  • 2GB Minimum
  • Recommended to have 4GB, depending on the patterns selected for installation and configuration.

Hard Disk

  • 10 GB of available, unpartitioned disk space

  • What's included in my trial? +

    In your free trial, you get a full-featured version of Open Enterprise Server, along with a full-featured version of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.

  • How many people can use this? +

    Within your 60-day period, you can install Open Enterprise Server for your whole team—as many people as needed—in a non-production environment.

  • What happens at the end of my trial? +

    At the end of your 60-day trial, you will need to either purchase a license or uninstall the product. To continue receiving patches and updates after the evaluation activation codes expire, you must purchase Open Enterprise Server and configure the system with regular activation codes. Codes are good for one year. Notifications are sent to your registered email address so that you can update your annual maintenance agreements and subscriptions before they expire.
