PREFERRED CONNECTION METHOD

The preferred connection is X, which is short for "Xmem", or cross memory services.

There may be instances when the server is known to be on a different LPAR, in which case you should use either of the following to override the preferred connection method and use TCP/IP instead:

<method>T</method> in SERXMLBC & SERXMLCC.

or:

stem.method='T' in SERXMLRC.
