Configuring ChangeMan ZDD

This chapter guides you through the configuration process to allow you to access a z/OS server from your PC.

These procedures describe how to:

  • Configure ZDD Network properties and add a z/OS server
  • Configure properties for the server
  • Set up specific folders for the files and jobs to be accessed
  • Configure for ChangeMan ZMF access

When the configuration is complete, data sets, PDS members, jobs, Unix files, and ChangeMan ZMF components will appear as individual files, organized into folders and directories. These files will be accessible in File Explorer and any other Windows application; any changes made by these applications will be reflected on the z/OS server.
