The New Folder Wizard
You create folders for data sets, jobs, and Unix files using the New Folder wizard. The wizard can be started by right-clicking on any of the following items:

the ZDD Network icon
-
a Server icon
-
a root folder (Data Sets, Jobs, or Unix)
-
a user-defined folder under the Data Sets or Jobs root folders
When the popup menu displays, you select ZDD Network | New Folder.
The first page of the wizard that displays allows you to enter information based on which item you right-click:

ZDD Network | Allows you to specify the server name, folder type, and folder name. |
Server | Allows you to specify the folder type and folder name (the server name is already known). |
Root Folder or User-Defined Folder | Allows you to specify the folder name (the server name and folder type are already known). |
The second page of the wizard that displays depends on the folder-type selected:
Folder Type | Second Page |
---|---|
Data Set | You specify pattern names for data sets to be included in the folder. |
Job | You specify which jobs are to be included in the folder. |
Unix | You specify the Unix path name that will be the root directory for the folder. |
